The Family Heritage Festival began in 2007 with the involvement of the families and staff of the Windham Primary School, sponsored by the ESL department.
The 2008 Festival expanded to include Manchester School as well, and the 2009 Festival included families of the entire school system.

The purpose of the Festival is to enrich our sense of connectedness by sharing the rich cultural heritages of each and every family in the Windham community. We do this by bringing/presenting/participating in/viewing/ or sharing food, dance, music, arts and crafts, games, artifacts, and stories.
