This is a student led initiative
started by a small group committed to changing their school's lunch program. Each day they work in the garden and kitchen to grow, harvest, prepare and serve lunch to their fellow students and staff of the REAL school. It is a labor of loveand the students go above and beyondeach day to make a positive change!

Brown University is doing a survey for RSU 14 Middle and High School Students and Staff. If you have not already participated, (please click here for the link.) Real School Students and Americorp Volunteers have created a fantastic movie based on Service Learning. (please click here to view the movie) The Wellness Team would like to congratulate Nick Thompson, a REAL School student. Nick has been awarded a 2013 Wellness grant. Nick plans to use the grant to purchase sleds and stability balls to use with our younger preschool neighbors on Mackworth Island. Nick and a few others have been working with these students all year. Congratulations Nick!
