Revised Maine Learning Results Standards
On September 26, 2006 the Maine Department of Education officially released the proposed revised Maine Learning Learning Results Standards for each content standard. The documents reflect the work that was completed by content review panels and the feedback gained by the content area surveys conducted last year. In addition to posting and publishing of the proposed standards, a crosswalk that connects the 2007 document to the 1997 document has been included for each content area. Please take some time to review the content standards and crosswalk for your curriculum area. It is anticipated that the legislature will be acting on the proposed documents in the fall of 2007.
