The Parent Advisory Council was organized in 1998 as a direct result of the Windham School Department’s Strategic Plan for 1998-2003. In an attempt to “… provide an environment in which teachers can teach and learners can learn”, a Parent Advisory Council consisting of parents, teachers, and administrators was formed for the K-5 level. Since the group’s inception, parents, teachers, and administrators have worked side-by-side to bring forth positive changes to the Windham elementary schools. |
