I am Dr. Kyle Rhoads and this is my fifth year as the Principal of Windham Primary School. Before coming to Windham, I was a principal for 5 years at Acton Elementary School in Acton, ME and an assistant principal and co-director of early childhood in Auburn, Maine. I am a past Kindergarten teacher and elementary curriculum coordinator. I began my full-time career in education as a teacher assistant at a small school in Sebago.

In my free time, I enjoy boating, listening to music and running. Every once in a while I still road race competitively at local running events. I am an avid sports fan, too! Since I was born outside of Philadelphia, I root for both the Philadelphia teams and the Boston teams!  I am married to my wife and best friend, Carrie.  We got engaged at Fenway Park, married at North Windham Union Church and had our reception on Peaks Island.  Carrie is a guidance counselor at Poland High School.  We have been married for three years and live in Windham off of Windham Center Road.

You will receive a newsletter from the school that will come home usually on Fridays or can be found on our Eagle News website. The newsletter will be published approximately once a month. Also, these newsletters will be posted on the Primary School web site.  Many parents and guardians volunteer in classrooms, however, there are many opportunities to volunteer such as an Academic Coach or a Busy Bee.  Please visit the volunteer website and contact the office for more information on these and other volunteer opportunities.
