Mrs. Nickerson's Class recognizes WW1's 100th anniversary

  Mrs. Nickerson's Class made and put in the ground 96 poppies to represent all the veterans from Windham who served during WW1. They then read In Flanders Fields and sang God Bless America.

Congratulations to Donna Morton (Manchester Teacher) for receiving American Legion Educator of the Year Award from Windham Post 148. Deb Luce won the VFW State of Maine Teacher's Award for Citizenship!!  Sabrina Nickerson wins CIvil War Grant from National Endowment for the Humanities  Manchester School wins Let's Go 5210 Silver Award   Manchester School wins $500 grant from Exxonmobile for math and science!  Opportunity to send students to Raymond Elementary School offer from the School Board.  Click here for more information.  Hooray for Manchester School, Principal Cindy Curtis said they won a $500 grant from Exxon for Science and Math!  Congratulations! Mrs. Debora Luce was recently nominated by a retired Windham teacher for the prestigious  2013 Veterans of Foreign Wars Smart/Maher National Citizenship Education Teacher Award! Iditarod Read-A-Thon raises $3,500 for Cultural Arts.
