Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Our school, in coordination with the Opportunity Alliance, will present grade level  “Dine and Discuss” sessions beginning next week.  Each session focuses on the awareness of drug and alcohol abuse.  Students have already been given instruction in regard to the adverse affects of drug and alcohol use but we wish to bring this discussion to parents who represent the single most influential force in preventing their use. The sessions are as follows:

•      Tuesday, April 8th –  For eighth grade parents in the WMS Cafeteria -

(6:00 – 7:30PM) Spaghetti Dinner for all who participate followed by the presentation by Opportunity Alliance.

•      Thursday, April 10th – For Sixth grade Parents in the WMS Cafeteria –

( 6:00 – 7:30PM)  Spaghetti Dinner for all who participate followed by a presentation by Opportunity Alliance.

•      Monday, April 14th - For Seventh grade Parents in the WMS Cafeteria –

(6:00 – 7:30PM)  Spaghetti Dinner for all who participate followed by a presentation by Opportunity Alliance.

Please join us for one of these evenings and confirm your attendance by calling or emailing my secretary Linda Eastman.  leastman@rsu14.org<mailto:leastman@rsu14.org>    892-1820

Eighth Grade Parents:  I am pleased to announce that we have moved quickly today to confirm that there will be an Eighth Grade Dance Cruise this year.  We had not completed plans and student thought that the Dance may not occur but it will.  The date of the dance has not been established but will be by April vacation.

Breakfast Cart:  On Tuesday, April 8th, WMS FoodService will be implementing a breakfast cart for students at Field Allen.  The cart will be in the school from 7:15 until 7:30 giving all sixth grade students the opportunity for breakfast.
