MARVEL! is a great source for authoritative information. It is free for all Maine residents and includes access to Britannica Online, Maine Newsstand, NoveList, Student Research Center, and many more databases.

This is another great resource. It is hosted by Drexel University's College of Information Science and Technology and maintained by Librarians and Library Science students.
