Art is offered to all students in kindergarten through grade three to familiarize children with basic art skills and concepts. Children are introduced to a wide variety of media to encourage development of skills, understanding and appreciation of art. 

 Weaving the art experience into every child's education by engaging students in art making, art history, criticism and aesthetics.  Through these processes, students will meet the standards of the Maine State Learning Results appropriate to their grade level.
